Paying your fees on-line
Applications and transcript requests completed through this web site are not submitted unless all fees have been paid by credit card through our secure check out process. All online transactions must be paid by credit card. No checks or money orders will be accepted for online transactions.

All PCAT fee payments are deposited immediately upon receipt. However, the deposit of your fee payment does not constitute an agreement to grant you admission to the test. If you complete a paper application and it does not meet the requirements described in the "About The PCAT" section of the Candidate Information Booklet, your registration will be cancelled.

Test Fees
The Online Application Test Fee: $125.00
The Paper Application Test Fee: $160.00
The Test Fee, paid with the submission of your application, registers you to take the test at a scheduled center if deadlines are met. For online registration refer to PCAT Deadlines for deadlines. You must also pay this fee to register for a Special Testing Location. In addition, this fee covers your personal Score Report and up to three official score Transcripts sent to colleges of pharmacy, or other organizations, that you specify when you apply.

Optional Fees
Late Application Fee: $49.00
To apply online after the Standard Application Deadline, but before the Late Application Deadline, you must pay this fee in addition to the Test Fee. Refer to (PCAT Deadlines) for deadlines.

Special Testing Location Fee: $189.00 (domestic sites)
To take your test at a location other than a scheduled Test Center, you must pay the Special Testing Location Fee in addition to the Test Fee. Fees may be higher in foreign countries and are calculated on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to the instructions for Special Testing Locations.

Additional Score Report and official Transcript Fee $20.00 each
You must pay the Additional Score Report Fee for each additional Score Report or official score Transcript beyond the the ones that your original Test Fee covers and for any requested after you submit your application. Refer to Requesting Additional Score Reports and Official Score Transcripts for instructions.

Cancelling Your Registration
If you know you will not be able to take a test for which you have already registered, you may request a cancellation of your registration.

You may be able to receive a partial refund if your request for cancellation is received by Harcourt Assessment before the cancellation deadline for the appropriate test date. Refer to My Profile and click the Request Cancellation link in your transaction history. Also, refer to PCAT Deadlines. Cancellations received after the posted deadline will not be eligible for any refund.

Your request must be received before a refund can be processed. If you comply with these requirements, half of your Test Fee will be returned to you within six to eight weeks after your request is received. Harcourt Assessment will retain the remainder as a processing fee. Fee payments may NOT be applied to future test dates. Optional fee payments will not be refunded.

Special Testing Locations
Special Testing Locations for the established testing dates may be arranged for candidates living more than 150 miles from a scheduled Test Center. If you request a Special Testing Location within the United States, Harcourt Assessment must receive your application, fee payment, and written request by the Standard Application Deadline. (PCAT Deadlines) You may submit this "written" request when registering online at the PCAT website. For instructions on mailing in your application, please refer to the Special Testing Locations information page.

Although Harcourt Assessment cannot guarantee that the PCAT will be administered at the testing location you prefer, every attempt will be made to have it administered at your preferred location or within 75 miles of the address at which you will be residing on the test date for which you are applying. No arrangements for a Special Testing Location will be made unless your application, written request, and the entire fee payment have been received by the Standard Application Deadline. Non-Saturday Administrations
For candidates whose religious convictions prohibit their testing on a Saturday, a special test date may be arranged. There is no additional fee for a Non-Saturday test administration. Accommodations for Candidates with Disabilities
For candidates with disabilities, special accommodations can be made. There is no additional charge for special accommodations. For information on how to request a special accommodation, refer to the Accommodations for Candidates with Disabilities information page.
